Refund Policy - Aviation Museum of Kentucky

  • The Aviation Museum of Kentucky, Inc. ("Museum") is committed to providing a positive experience for all our visitors. This refund policy outlines the conditions under which ticket purchases can be refunded, including those for Aviation Summer Camp programs, educational classes, or other Musueum-sponsored events.

General Policy:

  • Tickets purchased online or at the museum entrance for general admission, Aviation Summer Camp programs, educational classes, or other Musueum-sponsored events are generally non-refundable. However, we understand unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we will consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis according to the following criteria:
  • Museum Closure: If the Museum is closed due to weather or unforeseen circumstances on the day(s) of your visit or program, a full refund will be issued.
  • Program Cancellation: If the Museum cancels a specific program (including an Aviation Summer Camp program or educational class) you registered for, you will receive a full refund.
  • Ticketing Errors: If you purchased a ticket in error (e.g., the wrong date, number of tickets, or registered for the wrong program), please contact us as soon as possible. Depending on the situation, we will be happy to modify your ticket or issue a refund.
  • Participant Withdrawal: We understand that situations may require a participant to withdraw from a program. Refunds will be considered based on the following:
    • Withdrawal Prior to 30 Days Before Program Start: A full refund minus a $25 processing fee will be issued.
    • Withdrawal Between 14 and 29 Days Before Program Start: A 50% refund will be issued.
    • Withdrawal Within 13 Days of Program Start or After Program Begins: No refunds will be issued.

Refund Requests:

All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to museum@aviationky.org. Please include your full name, confirmation number, and a brief explanation for your refund request.

Processing Time:

We will process your refund request within ten business days of receipt. Refunds will be issued using the original method of payment used for the purchase.

Please Note:

  • This policy applies to online and in-person ticket purchases for general admission, Aviation Summer Camp programs, educational classes, and Museum-sponsored events.
  • This policy does not apply to the Aviation Museum of Kentucky donations. Donations are generally non-refundable.

Kentucky Law:
