This summer, give your child the opportunity to explore the exciting world of aviation with our fun and educational Summer Aviation Camps! Whether your child dreams of becoming a pilot or is curious about the science of flight, we have the perfect camp experience. With on-site and off-site locations and a variety of dates, there’s a camp to fit every schedule!
2025 Camps & Workshops
Aviation Summer Camp (Ages 10-17)
This 2-day hands-on program immerses students in the wonders of aviation, from aircraft operations to the science behind flight.
What to Expect:
- 2 -day camp plus a Flight Experience with a certified pilot
- Hands-on learning about aviation and aerospace
- Flight simulators and interactive exhibits
- Lessons in aircraft design, aerodynamics, and navigation
- NOTE: 3rd day is not a full camp day; parents must sign up for a time for the flight opportunity.
Drone Pilot License Prep Workshop (Age 16+)
This is a 2-day intensive workshop to prepare candidates for the FAA's part 107 Drone Pilot Certification Exam.
What to Expect:
- This course prepares students for their Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification. Students will be guided through key topics, including Federal Aviation Regulations, airspace considerations, drone operations and safety protocols.
- This course will offer practical insights and targeted test preparation.
- NOTE: This course prepares students to take their test to obtain the Certification for commercial drone operations. This course will not include any drone demonstrations, nor any hands-on activities including flying drones.

Expanding our reach, we’ve partnered with NASA KY & Fayette County Public Schools to bring even more aviation exploration to Kentucky students. Through this exciting collaboration, we offered seven one-day aviation camps throughout the 2024 school year. These immersive, NASA-supported programs integrate real-world science and aerospace studies, giving students the chance to engage directly with cutting-edge aviation technology.
By participating, students gained unique insights into the world of aviation, sparking their imagination and encouraging them to dream big while thinking beyond the horizon.
