Get back to the basics of flight as the Kentucky Aerospace Education Center prepares for you to take to the skies. Enjoy aviation camp staples like introductions to aeronautics, navigation, and simulated flight with a twist! Experience high resolution flights on FAA certified simulators and hands-on experiments about the forces that govern aerospace. Finish off camp in a moving flight simulator, as a Certified Flight Instructor takes you through virtual skies while feeling all the wind, weather, and landing bumps of a plane. Whether you’re a flight-tested returnee or a first-time flier, this camp has something for you!
Advanced Aviation Camp

Take your camp experience to new heights in the Kentucky Aerospace Education Center’s advanced ground school. Have in-depth training session on aeronautics, navigation, and simulated flight before experiencing an actual flight lesson with an FAA Certified Flight Instructor. These intensive two days will help broaden campers’ interest in all things aviation as we take on new challenges, experiments, and problem solving before taking to the skies.
