is a homegrown business success story. The only airline with its headquarters in Kentucky was started at the on May 1, 1977, by Raymond Mueller and his son David.
Known initially as WINGS Airlines, it was re-named early on as COMAIR ---shorthand for "commute by air." Its initial fleet consisted of three Piper Navajo aircraft serving three destinations: Cleveland, Evansville and Akron/Canton.
In just 20 years, COMAIR has developed into a world-class airline, thanks to superlative performance demonstrated by the following achievements:
