Sheri Coin Marshall

A resident of Paducah, Ky., Sheri Marshall overcame the disability of right-arm amputation at age 4 to become one of Kentucky's most respected pilots. A veteran flight instructor, she holds a Current Airline-Transport rating and a Part 135 Charter Operation. She was 1998 Instructor of the Year for the FAA Southern Region and a top National Contender. She is a Designated Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association flight instructor for the physically impaired, and published the book One Can Do It. She has written many nationally published articles on rehabilitation of disabled persons, and at present edits a magazine on that subject. Ms. Marshall has received numerous state and national awards and citations. An inventor, drag boat racer, potter and air racer, she flies her Charter 135 daily from Paducah, and, with husband Joe, raises two young daughters.
