Part of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System, Somerset Tech has trained over 1,000 students in aircraft maintenance. An essential and in-demand field, these FAA-certified mechanics are employed across the nation and around the world. Dr. Keith Bird, chancellor of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System presented the award, which was accepted by Dr. Carol Ann VanHook, director of Kentucky Tech-Somerset Regional Technology Center.
