The Aviation Achievement award is presented to those who show through their acts, a willingness to promote aviation in Kentucky and the world. Tonight's recipient, Stuart Powell is such a person. As Chairman of the Danville Airport Board for forty-four years, Mr. Powell has shown a passion for aviation that is not often seen. Real progress in the economic development of Danville area can be linked to the work done by Stuart Powell.
